President & Principal Engineer
Robert Leverington founded Leverington & Associates, Inc. in 2005 after 20 years of experience in the municipal, military and private sectors.
He is licensed to practice civil engineering in the States of California, Colorado, and Nebraska. He is licensed to practice land surveying in Colorado and Nebraska. He practices primarily in the areas of municipal infrastructure, surveying and mapping, land development and planning, structures, and water resources.
Rob holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science, both in Civil Engineering from San Jose State University. During his academic studies he was inducted into Chi Epsilon – the National Civil Engineering Honor Society. Rob is a Board-Certified Diplomate, Water Resources Engineer (D.WRE) of the American Academy of Water Resources Engineers. Rob has been elected a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and is a recipient of the ASCE President’s Medal. He is an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering Technology at Colorado State University – Pueblo.
Rob is retired from the US Army Reserve with the rank of major after 21 years of service, which included campaigns in Bosnia and Iraq.
In his spare time, Rob enjoys cooking (especially smoking meats) wine-making, reading, camping hunting and fishing.
